Dr. Geralyn Johnson, Vice President for Correctional Health Services provides leadership and management of health services in GEO’s U.S. correctional facilities. Dr. Johnson is a highly decorated, retired officer of the United States Public Health Service and has extensive experience in community and corrections clinical practice, program planning and evaluation, and health care systems administration. She has held key clinical, administrative, and leadership positions in the health care services components of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Legacy Immigration and Naturalization Service, and Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Dr. Johnson is a recognized expert in management and accreditation of correctional health care systems, telehealth, organizational development, and cost containment strategies. She holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University and a Master of Public Health degree from The Johns Hopkins University.
