As part of the development of new facilities and oversight of our corporate facilities, GEO is committed to focusing our efforts on sustainable design, construct and operations. As a facility makes the conversion to a green operational philosophy, operating costs are lowered and emissions are lowered. These efforts also meet political, social and environmental concerns.
GEO's Facilities monitor the true measurable quantities of resources we use. These include Kilowatt Hours of electricity, electric demand charges, gallons of water, and cubic feet or therms of natural gas. As utility prices vary widely across the country, monitoring the quantities provides a better gauge of utility usage.
